Almost forgot about this. One of the more exciting events of the trip into Yellowstone. On our way into Yellowstone one morning there was a small crowd gathering at the side of the road. We couldn’t see much so we had to park the car and cross the street to get a good look. There was a steep incline down to the lake and there below us were these two bear just wrestling around, biting and toying with each other….
Everything up until this point had been truly beautiful and one could only imagine how it could become even better. Well it did! Our journey took us to the south entrance of Yellowstone and on into Grand Teton National Park. Our last few nights were going to be spent in Jackson, WY. Just as I was standing before the falls waiting for Betty to come return from the gift shop, there was a little commotion on then hill across the street from the shop. Apparently there was a black bear cub running around over there.Betty started running after I pointed it out to her. This was the first bear she had ever seen. She was so excited! As was I for her.
