Almost forgot about this. One of the more exciting events of the trip into Yellowstone. On our way into Yellowstone one morning there was a small crowd gathering at the side of the road. We couldn’t see much so we had to park the car and cross the street to get a good look. There was a steep incline down to the lake and there below us were these two bear just wrestling around, biting and toying with each other….
Just as I was standing before the falls waiting for Betty to come return from the gift shop, there was a little commotion on then hill across the street from the shop. Apparently there was a black bear cub running around over there.Betty started running after I pointed it out to her. This was the first bear she had ever seen. She was so excited! As was I for her. Everything is scheduled and set! Flying into Rapid City and taking 2 days to see Mt. Rushmore. This is one of the first places that Betty told me that she wanted to see if we were going to travel the US.
