Well, we’ve been waiting for this day and it’s finally here. Leaving for Bogota tomorrow night arriving on Friday morning. We are hoping to use the whole day to really take a look around, but people say that between the midnight flight and the high altitude of Bogota that you will be pretty tired.

Well, we shall see. Our hope is to drop off our things at the Hilton in Bogota, see if the weather is good and head right on to the top of Montserrat. This will give us a beautiful view of the city and the surrounding areas.

Stay tuned for the pictures and the adventure that is about to begin. We are opening some doors to a new adventure, exploring the world and experiencing how the different cultures of the world live and enjoy life. Our hope is to come back exhausted but rejuvenated. We will have plenty of time to recover upon our return. We will fill each and every day with experiences that we can speak of for years to come. 

Not a lot more to say tonight. Packing, making sure we have the passports and the electric converters. Not sure if we really need them though.
